All Danes utilized for breeding at Littlehorse have been x- rayed for hip dysplasia.  Our pups' general health is guaranteed; they are guaranteed against hip dysplasia for life; and they are guaranteed for seven years against enlarged hearts. We also guarantee temperament.

It is our desire to see all of our pups in homes where they are both emotionally and physically well cared for.  All of our puppies are available to pet homes.

All of our puppies are sold on A. K. C. 's limited registration.  They can be shown in obedience and agility.  Limited registration will be provided once we receive proof of spay or neutering from your veterinarian.

We start accepting deposits when the puppies are three weeks of age.  Prior to agreeing to take a deposit, we require either a telephone or an "in person" screening.  We will not agree to sell a puppy to you before we have had at least the telephone interview and feel confident that your home will be a safe and happy place for one of our puppies.  We will not let our puppies go to just anybody who wants one.

This year we are starting a new policy.  We are requiring two references to insure our puppies fall into safe and loving arms.   We will be more than happy to provide references from our previous puppy buyers.

It should be noted that because our deposits are nonrefundable, we ask potential buyers to do their research and make sure they are committed to one of our puppies. 

Once we have set a price on a puppy, we are not open to negotiation.  

We will ship puppies both inside the continental U.S. and abroad, but we will not ship into any country that requires quarantine.  Shipping expenses, including the health certificate, the crate, and the airline expense are paid by the buyer.  

We prefer not to ship during the heat of the summer. 

Ear cropping is left up to the individual buyer as we don't crop ourselves due to personal preference and will not have it done for you.  

Dewclaws are not removed.  Our puppies come with all the parts they were born with. :-)
