Welcome to our nursery.

We wanted to give you a peek at where our "mothers to be" and then their puppies are whelped and raised.

The signs are made by my daughter, Sandra Rainwater.  They say" Littlehorse Kinder."

If you look realllllllllllllllllllll close, you can see that in each of the two runs there are tiny cameras mounted right over the back part of the run  so I can watch them on a television monitor located in my room.  There is also an intercom system, air conditioning, heating, a television, refrigerator and microwave for heating puppy food and high energy snacks for us during those long nights of helping new life come into the world.

My "Handy, Dandy" whelping cart.  I just love it.  I keep all of my whelping supplies inside of it, and, as you can see, we have a regular baby scale on top.

Right off of the nursery is a combination dog kitchen, laundry, bathroom.

My husband and I have worked hard to make sure that every puppy is kept clean, safe, and given lots of love and attention.

I have elected to decorate with "Blue's Clues" as it was something I shared with my grandson, Connor when he was small and I really got attached to the program... therefore the extensive collection.:-)

This room is "off limits".  Only my husband, myself and our veterinarian are allowed entry to cut down on the possibility of someone tracking something in on their clothes or feet that could harm unvaccinated puppies.

We keep our dogs on a strict schedule and they make us live up to it.  We want people to visit and to meet our dogs, but it is by "APPOINTMENT ONLY".  You are welcome to call and schedule an appointment when our puppies are five weeks or older.

Littlehorse was built and is maintained for the health and comfort of our dogs.   The responsibility of keeping our dogs healthy is enormous and we don't take it lightly.
